 St. Paul Music Ministry Golf Outing
The Raisin
River Golf Club (east course), Monroe, Michigan will be the site of
the Friday, July 17, 2009 handicap Scramble which gets underway
with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
Check-in and our first of two putting contests will begin at 7
a.m. Prizes and awards will be given in
a variety of areas to ensure a challenging and fun-filled day for all
participants. Following your round, there will be an informal reception for all
participants which includes an all you can eat burgers and bratwurst dinner.

Vacation Bible School 2009 |
|
 Vacation Bible School 2009 will be held the week of August 3 - 7, meeting daily, 9 a.m. to 12 noon. Studio Go! Game Show is this year’s theme. At VBS, kids will have the opportunity to:
~ Discover stories of Bible people who decided to team up with God and GO! for it!
~ Accept a daily challenge to GO! make a difference.
~ Meet real-life servants, participate with friends in service projects, and use their Serving Feet to GO! serve in the community.
~ Play fun-filled games, enjoy delicious snacks, and create unforgettable crafts that remind them to GO! Lead, GO! Risk, GO! Tell, GO! Obey, and GO! Serve.
~ Take home the promise that God is with them wherever they GO!

Habitat for Humanity Home |
|
 On Saturday, June 19, men from St. Paul participated in the
Faith Blitz Build of a Habitat for Humanity home in Detroit. This home is being
built in partnership with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. Finishing up the
first of two weeks, construction for the day included siding and insulating the
home and completing work at the Habitat workshop. In addition, St. Paul’s
Mission Task Force provided lunch for the eighty or so workers from our and
other area congregations. It was a day filled with hard work and rewarding
benefits that was dedicated to the Lord. On Thursday, July 9, another team from
St. Paul will be painting at the East Side Detroit home. Click here for
